Financial support
‹
Money will be transferred after the
projects have submitted their budget requests and after approval
by the TSP board. To monitor expenditure TSP requires bills and
photographs to be submitted, subject to control. This process is
guided by our dedicated Tajik monitors, Khuseynjon Fayzullaev in
Lakkon and Muzaffar Muzafarov in Dushanbe. This strategy
guarantees a correct and meaningful use of the donated money.
›
Stimulating knowledge transfers
‹
TSP
tries to link the Tajik projects with sister institutions in
the Netherlands. There is a great need to be updated with the
newest insights and treatment methods. In this respect TSP
collaborates with Global Intiative on
Psychiatry (GIP).
In 1980 GIP kick-started the reform process within the
psychiatric institutions of the former Soviet Union. Together
with GIP, TSP donates translated professional literature,
organizes courses and study trips and supports a mini farm in
Lakkon hospital.

Consignments of goods
‹

Occasionally
TSP organizes small transports of goods, with the support of
ORA
Netherlands (Orphans and Refugee Aid). This
concerns materials that are desperately needed and not available
in Tajikistan, for example therapeutic play materials and solar
panels.
